Workforce First offers small businesses courses in:
Our two-hour safety policy workshop is specifically aimed at meeting the needs of small businesses.
Firms who employ five people or more are legally required to have a safety policy in place.
The course offers expert guidance so delegates can write their own safety policy specifically designed to meet the needs of their firm. The course aims to gives delegates more than simply a policy document by helping them to embed a safety process in their business.
The course is led by Workforce First managing director Leila Kirk who has more than 20 years experience in advising business about safety and is the West Midlands organiser of the British Occupational Hygiene Society.
With costs of £65 per delegate the course could save you up to £600 on the cost of using a consultant to produce a policy.

LEV awareness training
Workforce First organises courses in LEV awareness training which are specifically designed for small businesses and maintenance engineers. The syllabus covered in the course aims to give staff responsible for this area the expertise to devise their own LEV as well as operate it effectively and improve its efficiency.
The one-day course, costing £250 per delegate, is approved by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and provides a mixture of theory and hands-on practical training.
The course is led by Workforce First managing director Leila Kirk who has more than 20 years of experience providing expert occupational hygiene advice to businesses and is the West Midlands organiser for the British Occupational Hygiene Society.
